DJ Shadow has confirmed to Zane Lowe of Radio 1 that he is working on DJ Hero 2.

DJ Guetta in DJ Hero 2

When asked what he thinks about DJ Hero, DJ Guetta had this to say.

â€œI think it’s amazing, this game, and I’m going to work on the No. 2 version,â€ Guetta says. â€œIt’s a really crazy game. After 10 minutes, you get the rush that a DJ gets after 10 years of practising. I have fun with it, but you know what? I can’t go to the maximum level. It’s too difficult for me. It’s crazy.â€

Activision has confirmed that DJ Hero 2 is currently slated for a release date of October 21, 2010.

Well, the first one hasn’t even been released yet, but DJ Hero 2 is reportedly getting underway already.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, at least one independent UK developer is already working with FreeStyleGames on the sequel.

DJ Qbert has reportedly been approached to be included in that game.
